Why So Many 3D Printers? Because Every Print Deserves the Right Machine.
Great 3D Printing goes beyond just pressing "Print". It's also about choosing the right machine, material and production technology to meet your needs. We believe every project deserves the right tools.
One Print Farm. Multiple Technologies.
We don't believe every project should be forced through the same printer. Our growing production farm allows us to select the machine best suited to the size, material, detail, colour and production requirements of your project.
FDM / Filament Production
Our filament printers handle the majority of our production work, including larger models, display pieces, multi-colour projects, prototypes, functional components and production batches.
2 Printers
2× Bambu Lab H2D
Our H2Ds sit at the heart of our filament production setup. Their larger print area gives us room for oversized pieces, larger production batches and projects that simply won't fit on many conventional desktop printers.
Their dual-nozzle architecture also gives us additional flexibility for support materials and more complicated multi-material production.
Their enclosed and heated printing environment also makes them useful for materials and applications that go well beyond everyday PLA printing.
Up to 9 Colours
Bambu Lab H2C
Our H2C is connected to two Bambu Lab AMS 2 Pro units, giving our production setup access to up to nine colours at a time for complex multi-colour jobs.
The H2C is one of the most specialized printers in our farm. Its Vortek hotend-changing system gives us a much more capable approach to multi-colour and multi-material production.
Instead of depending entirely on repeatedly purging the same nozzle whenever a print changes colours, the H2C can use its multi-hotend architecture as part of a much more flexible production workflow.
Combined with our two AMS 2 Pro units, it becomes our first choice for complicated character pieces, display models and other prints where colour is an important part of the finished design.
Production
Bambu Lab X1C
The X1 Carbon remains one of our dependable everyday production machines.
Its enclosed design, speed and material compatibility make it ideal for medium-sized products and jobs that don't need the additional capacity of our H-series printers.
It also provides important additional production capacity whenever our larger printers are already working on other customer orders.
Small Jobs
Bambu Lab A1 Mini
Not every project needs one of our biggest printers.
Our A1 Mini is perfect for smaller components, prototypes, samples, test pieces and quick production jobs.
Instead of occupying an H2D with a tiny component, we can assign smaller work to a machine perfectly suited to it.
High-Detail Resin Production
Some projects need extremely fine detail rather than the size, durability or material options offered by filament printing. That's where our dedicated resin equipment comes in.
8K Resin
Elegoo Saturn 2 8K
Filament printing isn't always the best choice.
Our Saturn 2 gives us a completely different production process for models where extremely fine features, sharp surfaces and tiny details are the priority.
Its high-resolution 8K resin system makes it particularly useful for detailed models, miniatures, display pieces and smaller components where surface detail matters.
The Next Step: Full-Colour Production
Our next machine adds another production technology entirely, bringing full-colour 3D and UV printing into the Moonlit Hobby production lineup.
Coming Soon
HeyGear G1X
The HeyGear G1X introduces an entirely different production technology to the Moonlit Hobby farm.
It combines full-colour 3D production with UV printing, allowing us to work with detailed colour, gradients, transparent effects, textures and specialty applications.
For certain projects, full-colour production can also remove one of the most time-consuming stages of traditional model production: painting the finished print.
Why Does Having So Many Printers Matter?
Because your project isn't dependent on a single machine, a single technology or a single production queue.
Multiple Orders at Once
Several machines can run simultaneously, allowing multiple customer orders and production batches to move forward together.
Less Production Downtime
If one printer needs maintenance, our entire printing operation doesn't need to stop.
The Right Tool for the Job
Large FDM prints, small components, detailed resin models, multi-material designs and full-colour projects each have equipment available for them.
More Size Options
From smaller 180 mm components to H-series projects approaching 350 mm, we can match the printer to the project.
Built for Batch Production
More machines allow us to distribute production across the farm rather than completing everything sequentially on one printer.
More Technologies
Filament, high-detail resin and full-colour UV production provide capabilities that a typical single-printer setup simply doesn't have.
What Our Print Farm Means for You
More printers aren't about collecting equipment. They're about increasing capacity, reducing bottlenecks and choosing the best process for your project.
Not your average print farm! We specialize in bringing every small detail to life!
Whether you need one custom piece, a prototype, a detailed resin model, display pieces, a batch of parts or ongoing production, Moonlit Hobby has the flexibility to choose the equipment best suited to your project.
More machines. More capabilities.
More ways to bring your ideas into the real world.
